Juliana was born and raised in Colombia, where she grew up in a small city named Armenia. It was famously known for its coffee farms, and tropical climate which produced fruit like plantains and bananas. 

She obtained two degrees in her hometown, one in law and another in public administration. Driven by her passion for learning, she pursued a postgraduate program in administrative law, and later enrolled in an online master’s program in project management, at University Miguel de Cervantes in Spain.

During her studies, she met her husband, Ricardo, she and Ricardo traveled to Argentina and fell in love with Buenos Aires. They were captivated by the welcoming culture, delicious food, and exceptional wine.  Together they now have two children, Sarah and Samuel.

One of her greatest accomplishments, though also a challenging endeavor, was relocating her family to Canada. She was determined to give her son, Samuel, the opportunity to study at a university abroad. Initially, they planned to move in 2019, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed their plans by a year. Finally, in 2020, the entire family made the move to Canada.

After relocating to Canada, Juliana continued her education and earned her most recent degree, a Masters of Business Administration, from University Canada West. Last year, she began working at Pavilion Cowork, where she especially enjoys collaborating with her team and meeting the many wonderful people who come through Pavilion.
