Meet Cristiana, the new Marketing and Events Coordinator at Pavilion

Cristiana was born in the Philippines and raised in Singapore. Before relocating to Canada with her family, she travelled to Japan, the Philippines, and Korea, all of which were on her bucket list. Japan impressed her with its cleanliness and delicious food, while Korea’s vibrant energy stood out.

During her first year in university, she discovered her passion for marketing and decided to pursue it as a career. From a young age, she was passionate about filming, photography, and video editing—skills she now incorporates into her professional work.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Commerce from UBC’s Sauder School of Business, participated in several clubs, including the Singapore Students Association, and completed an internship with Clearly. While volunteering with the Singapore Students Association, she served as their marketing director and, in her final year, as their events co-director. The club organized ten events annually, attracting between 30 and 100 attendees each time. She took pleasure in coordinating logistics for each event and found it rewarding to see people enjoy themselves, knowing her efforts made it possible.

With her background in events and marketing, Cristiana was thrilled to find a position at Pavilion that enabled her to pursue both!

When Cristiana has spare time, she loves to walk along the seawall and go kayaking during the summer. Next time you see Cristiana at one of our events, say hello!
