Meet Anthony Remizov, Founder of Anthony & Co:

Anthony was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia. Growing up, he loved exploring the city’s museums and cultural landmarks. At 10 years old, he became intrigued by programmable gaming products and started coding. During his adolescence, he studied photography as an extracurricular activity, developing an appreciation for the visual arts and traveling to destinations like Finland, Spain, and Germany to explore museums and diverse cultures. 

Passionate about programming and design, he sought a career that combined both and chose the University of British Columbia. While at UBC, he founded the university’s first user experience design club, UX Hub, which continues to thrive today. Before graduating with a degree in Cognitive Systems, he worked with startups, focusing on data-driven platforms and enterprise software. 

After more than a decade of building and leading product design teams, he founded Anthony & Co. in 2023. Inspired by architecture studios, he prioritizes thoughtful design processes over aesthetics. One of his current projects involves helping the government streamline land transfers to British Columbia’s First Nations, aligning with his passion for meaningful impact. 

In his spare time, Anthony enjoys coffee shop crawling, running, and visiting art galleries in Vancouver—Monte Clark in East Van being one of his favorites. If you see him at our Happy Hours, feel free to say hi!
