Happy Hour Spots Near Pavilion Stadium Beatty in Downtown Vancouver

We love our space at 564 Beatty, but we also love what’s right outside our front door.

One of the things we’re genuinely proud of is the neighbourhood we’re planted in. The Stadium Beatty area sits at the intersection of Gastown, Chinatown, and Yaletown, which means when our members close their laptops and head out for the evening, they have some of Vancouver’s best after-work spots within easy walking distance. We’ve rounded up five of our favourites, and yes, we saved a spot at the bottom for ourselves too.

The Cambie Bar & Grill — Gastown

300 Cambie St | ~5-minute walk

The Cambie is a Vancouver institution, and for good reason, their happy hour deals are some of the best in the city (a burger and a beer for under $10 is genuinely hard to beat). It’s loud, lively, and fills up fast after work, so get there early. This is our go-to recommendation when a big group of members wants to head out together without anyone worrying about the bill. Live music nights are a nice bonus.

The Keefer Bar — Chinatown

135 Keefer St | ~10-minute walk

When we want something a little more atmospheric, we head to the Keefer. It’s one of the most distinctive cocktail bars in the city, dim red lighting, apothecary-inspired decor, and a drinks menu built around botanicals and unexpected flavour pairings. Their happy hour pulls a great after-work crowd, and the bartenders really know their craft. We love recommending this one to members who are newer to the neighbourhood and haven’t discovered it yet.

Six Acres — Gastown

203 Carrall St | ~10-minute walk

Six Acres is one of those spots that never gets old. Exposed brick, warm lighting, a well-curated beer list, and a patio that’s one of Gastown’s best. It’s perfect for a relaxed post-work debrief or catching up with a fellow member over a pint. The food is solid too, the Sunday roast has a devoted following, and honestly, we understand why.

Bartholomew — Yaletown

1026 Mainland St | ~15-minute walk

For the cocktail enthusiasts in our community, Bartholomew is the move. They run happy hour from 5 to 6 PM (with a late-night version too) and use house-made syrups and quality ingredients that you can actually taste. The space is cozy and intimate, and the food punches well above what you’d expect from a cocktail bar, the porchetta and crème brûlée are both worth ordering. One tip from us: book ahead or arrive right at 5, because it fills up fast.

The Magnet — Downtown

309 W Pender St | ~5-minute walk

The Magnet has quickly become one of our favourite neighbourhood spots since it opened. Great local craft beer on tap (the flights are generously poured), elevated comfort food, and a warm, unpretentious vibe that makes it easy to stay longer than planned. The cozy two-person booths are perfect for those one-on-ones that always seem to happen naturally after a day of shared space. We think you’ll love it.

But First — Happy Hour With Us

Before you head out to explore the neighbourhood, don’t forget that we host our own monthly happy hours right here at Pavilion. It’s one of our favourite events, a chance for our members to connect, meet new faces, and enjoy together in the space we all share. Keep an eye on your inbox and our events calendar so you never miss the next one. We’d love to see you there!
