Pavilion Cowork offers an elevated shared office experience, designed for professionals seeking a dynamic, sophisticated environment. Since launching in 2019, Pavilion has expanded to three prime locations in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant and Downtown neighborhoods, offering beautifully crafted private offices, exclusive member events, and top-tier amenities. As part of the Alabaster Group of Companies, a prominent real estate developer in Vancouver, Pavilion is committed to fostering community and creating inspiring spaces for our members.

Position Summary

Pavilion Cowork is seeking a Sales & Operations Manager to lead our first Pavilion Calgary location. This individual will take full ownership of the downtown location, driving revenue through sales, managing the daily member and team experience, overseeing operations, and leading an onsite team. This role will be both a community builder and a business operator, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Pavilion’s elevated standards. This role is on-site at our new Calgary location.

Sales & Member Growth

  • Lead all inbound and outbound sales efforts: manage leads, host tours, and convert prospects into long-term members.
  • Own contract negotiations, onboarding, and renewals to drive occupancy and hit revenue targets.
  • Liaise with commercial brokers, the HQ sales team, and other partners to grow local awareness and member acquisition.
  • Monitor performance and track KPIs across sales, renewals, and pipeline health.

Operations & Team Leadership

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Calgary location, ensuring that all physical and digital touchpoints reflect the Pavilion brand.
  • Oversee staff to ensure seamless service, daily cleanliness, and space integrity.
  • Own local HR functions such as hiring, onboarding/offboarding, scheduling, and staff development.
  • Lead daily huddles, regular training, and performance reviews to ensure accountability and strong team culture.

Member Experience

  • Be the face of Pavilion Calgary: ensure every member feels known, supported, and proud to be part of the space.
  • Oversee onboarding/offboarding processes, Slack communications, and community management to maintain member satisfaction.
  • Review and approve monthly invoices, manage member accounts, and address billing inquiries proactively.
  • Ensure top-tier execution of VIP meetings and high-profile visits.

Office & Financial Management

  • Manage local budgets, monthly expense reviews, vendor relationships, and operational cost-efficiency.
  • Maintain inventory, ordering, and office supply systems to keep the space stocked and functional.
  • Implement, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in coordination with the Director of Operations.

Events & Partnership

  • Organize and execute internal and external events that build community, support sales, and elevate Pavilion’s brand.
  • Collaborate with local businesses and community leaders to develop partnerships that enhance the member experience.
  • Support content development for Pavilion’s newsletter and marketing initiatives through community insights.

Who You Are

You’re an entrepreneurial, hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments where every day is different. You’re just as comfortable selling to a CEO as you are rolling up your sleeves to fix a Wi-Fi issue. You care about people, take pride in running beautiful spaces, and have a strong sense of ownership over the member and team experience.
In addition to these qualities, you possess:

  • 3–5+ years in coworking, hospitality, or relevant operational leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in B2B or service-based sales, with confidence in managing pipelines and closing deals.
  • Experience managing teams and driving results through strong leadership, coaching, and clear communication.
  • Strong operational acumen: budgeting, reporting, vendor management, and SOP creation.
  • Proficient with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, billing/CRM systems (familiarity with Yardi, Kube, Pipedrive or Square is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • A love for design, community, and hospitality—plus a strong eye for detail.
  • Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or valid working visa)
